All Home Owners Should Do This!
The Truss Area of my house is hard to navigate, probably worse than most. Lighting the area up with a string of construction lights makes a world of difference. I went with a 50′ string of the larger 4″ x 4″, higher watt LED’s (75 watt equivalent I believe).

I had a quick look at the reviews existing at the time of writing this one – 5.0 the average rating! That tells you something, and it is indeed very rare. It is well deserved, too.What first attracted me to this light is the area that it can cover. When the dark catches you with the job not finished and you turn on work lights – there’s often the area that is not well lit, or the light is glaring into your eyes. This set solves that problem well – you can cover quite a large area with 5 lights on a 50 feet wire, and it is easy to mount them high and provide good lighting angle. And if 5 lights are not enough – you can daisy-chain another five, and another … with the low consumption of the LED lights, it is hard to imagine reaching the limit of twelve strings in non-commercial environment.There are three variations of this light set: plain, with the cages and with the switch – all three in 50 or 100 feet length. The plain ones are fused, the ones with the cages are not. Mine came as a 50 ft set with the switch, also equipped with the cages – it seems the best deal of the three variations. The switch is waterproof and heavy duty. Five lights are at about 10 ft apart, the lead with the switch is about 8.5 feet and the tail with the outlet for daisy-chaining is about 18 inches. The outlet has a weather-proof cover when not in use.Just one note on that plug: it may be tempting to use it as a readily available source of power for something else, say if you need to use a corded tool. Resist that temptation, even if it is “just for a sec” – I’ve done that in the past with a different indoor light, and fried it.Excellent light, reasonable price, modular. Highly recommended!

These are really bright and the cable is long. In the picture, the cable is still coiled between lamps. Having a switch is a plus, some similar models do not have one and you have to unplug each time. I have tested the power draw and it is spot on at 74W. The plastic cage around each light is a good protection in case you bump into something. Carabiners are included and already installed on each lamp. These are great for renovation or any work you have to do outside after dark or in the winter. These is my go-to lighting if I have to work on my cars in the car port.
