Love the functionality and visual options.
What can I say… this is an excellent choice for a bedside nightstand. Amazon did well when they developed this unit. No fumbling with your alarm clock or phone to see the time and for that matter the current weather outside. The functionality is incredibly cool. So many options to choose from. And the sound quality is shockingly good. I kinda think this is an Alexa dot on steroids. And the fit and finish is high quality. Would make a really nice gift or addition to your home Alexa system and Ring alarm device setup. It super responsive when chiming in and answering out requests.Okay, so the number one thing I can say is this. Easy to install. Just follow the prompts. But most importantly… being able to roll over in the middle of the night and see the time and what the current weather is outside. I love it and so does my wife. Easy peasy. You won’t be disappointed. I absolutely recommend this Alexa product! Thank you Amazon.

Best Alexa for your *Bedside Table*
Before I ordered this product, I was using the Echo Dot 5th Generation. The sound quality was very impressive but the Bass was making my bedside table shake despite turning the bass down in the app. It was also a factor that I am in an apartment and didn’t want to disturb the neighbors below. So, I decided to return the Echo Dot and get this Echo Spot. I’ve got to say it is much better for your bedroom. The sound quality is just as good while having a manageable bass. The added display works well and gives an added convince besides having to ask Alexa. And at night, it automatically turns down the brightness so you can easily fall asleep. Although I would personally only use this for your bedside table or your office as again, the sound won’t fill the entire room (which is perfect for my situation). Also in my personal opinion, I would wait for a deal on this product to happen (which happens often) as around $100 isn’t worth it. I was able to get mine for 69 dollars on a “limited-time deal” which I see happen often. My point is: Buy this product for convenience and a nice-sounding speaker for your bedroom and not as a party speaker. Also, I would recommend trying to find a deal on this product instead of buying retail.

Convenient alarm, radio, and weather forecaster.
Makes setting reminders and alarms relatively easy but some features are complicated and work better through the app. I like giving it (them) feedback on the nuances which make or break the user experience.The sound quality is good and the volume gets pretty loud.It is easy to set an alarm while in bed in the dark without getting up. Its easy to ask when the next alarm is set for, or to change it. Its easy to tell it to stop or change volume. I can easily tell it to set one or multiple alarms but it can be difficult to modify them. For example, “Alexa, set an alarm for 5am to play a train horn.” It will set a 5am alarm but will rarely set up the sound. When trying to modify the new alarm it will usually tell me it doesn’t understand or will set up additional alarms instead of modifying the alarm I wanted. If you set 2 alarms within 15 minutes apart the first alarm will not sound at all which must be due to a snooze overlap conflict and the I don’t believe the second alarm sounded either. I woke up late 3 times due to it.I often ask questions it says it doesn’t understand and can’t help with, when Google can usually give you something.

the Echo Spot Alarm Clock is sleek in design; really easy to pair with other Echo Devices and Blutooth devices. Setup was easy and Alarm clock settings had a lot of alarm tone options for free and some had celebrity voices, nature sounds, songs etc. I am getting older as we all are and I love having Alexa in the bedroom to make emergency phone calls. I also love that the face of the clock can be changed to include current date and weather temp. I can also opt to get a short weather report from Alexa after I cancel the alarm and am awake.Love the classic Echo sphere shape and access to all my music and skill sets. I also bought the holder made for this clock to have a charger and free up a electric cord. Great Quality product, price and size/color options.

I love the Echo and can’t imagine a day without it. I love the subtle nice display, it shows me upcoming alarms, time, weather, and much more. The audio quality is amazing, and connectivity is super easy and quick!

El diseño de este ultimo echo (spot) es increible, yo lo compre en blanco por el contraste del negro de la pantalla, pero estoy seguro que en los demás colores de igual manera se verá muy bonito.Hablando de funcionalidades:- Básicamente funciona de igual manera que cualquer otro echo/alexa, aunque puede variar una que otra cosa debido a la nueva pantalla integrada.- Las animaciones que se muestran en diferentes ocasiones (al pasar un minuto en el rejol, al poner musica, al crear una alarma, etc., etc.) son muy bonitas, puedes personalizar tanto el reloj con diferentes diseños (que probablemente con el tiempo se agreguen más) y con diferentes colores (magenta, violeta, verde aqua, azul, naranja y lima).- La pantalla es táctil/touch y por esto, puedes acceder a configuraciones rapidas dentro del mismo Echo Spot (para una configuración mas detallada, abre la app de Alexa), ya sea, cambiar el color y diseño del reloj, regular el brillo de la pantalla, bajar/subir volumen, etc., etc.Puntos malos:- El Echo llegó en una bolsa de carton con burbujas (al menos a mi y a varios más) siento que al ser un dispositivo electrónico, debería llegar al menos en una caja de cartón con mucha más protección- La pantalla no es un circulo como se podría pensar, es un rectangulo en el centro de toda la parte negra. Cuando está el brillo alto o al máximo, se notan los bordes de esta. De lo contrario, en espacios obscuros/no tan iluminados, no se nota para nada.Conclusión:Por el precio que esta en este momento a miembros Prime, es una excelente opción. Como se aprecia en las fotos, se nota mas grande que una Alexa con reloj (olvidé el nombre) pero no es tanto como para estorbar, el tamaño es ideal. valió mucho la pena por el simple hecho de ser mucho mas elegante, con mas funcionalidades y obviamente, mas nueva y actualizada.Seguramente con el tiempo se agreguen funcionalidades para facilitar muchas mas tareas. Compra esta Alexa si quieres tener un reloj digital, una bocina de buen sonido y volúmen y obviamente, una asistente para tus tareas :)))Gracias por llegar hasta aqui y espero haber aclarado la mayoria de dudas :))

It was so simple getting dtarted once it arrived. As it was already connected to my amazon acount all i had to do was install updates and personalize the device to how I wanted it and away we went. Connected right away to the inter. It is sleak looking, not bulky and works well with the room it is in. Sound quality is great.

La bocina Alexa es muy bonita, el color azul la hace resaltar bastante y la hace diferente a lo típico en colores que siempre es gris, plata o negro.Funciona muy bien, se escucha muy bien la puse en mi recamara y considero que el audio es el suficiente para el espacio. Y todo muy bien con las funcionalidades de Alexa. Muy recomendable.

I bought this clock for my bedside table and it’s perfect. It’s simplistic design with core Alexa features make this ideal for any room. I have been looking for a clock that would have a dim option for during those late/early hours so that the clock wouldn’t glow at night and this one is great. I set a time frame that I want to put my clock on sleep mode and the time changes to a dim red (so easy on the eyes if I wake up in the night). I also like that you can personalize the clock face (i.e. colours, weather, etc) to whatever suits your style. The speakers are also on par with other Alexa devices (clear, good treble/bass). I don’t have anything negative to say at this point. I did have a bit more trouble getting it set up, there were some pairing issues with the app but it eventually worked. Overall, I would buy this again for other bedrooms in my house.

Amazing bedside companion! Does everything an alarm clock can do, but with a voice assistant. You can do the majority of functions with voice commands, but you’ll find better personalization and customization in the Alexa App on your phone.The sound coming from this thing is impressive. The bass must fire down because it seems to turn whatever it is sitting on into a bass resonator. The treble and mids aren’t as good as the Echo Dot but still more than adequate for a bedside speaker.It’s not perfect. The user interface on the unit itself could be a lot better than it is. If the iPod Nano could exist 20 years ago with all its functionality, there’s absolutely no reason there couldn’t be improvement to the GUI. If it’s marketed as a clock speaker, I’d like to see improvement with Alarms, Assigning Routines to Alarms, and even going as far as reviewing those Routine’s actions. More clock faces too, 6 is pretty lackluster.All in all, and considering i got it on sale, it was an excellent value. Fits in well with the rest of my smart home ecosystem. Does everything i need it to. The mentioned improvements would be more so for if you don’t have or have lost access to devices to control this device remotely.
