Great for a covered balcony space!
I have an upstairs apartment that has a small balcony area just off from the living room. It’s covered, but only has one corner light by the door that doesn’t give off much light.I purchased these to hang across the ceiling area, and they work wonderful! They give off a nice, warm light that allows us to sit out there at night and not be blinded by them. The length was perfect for what I needed (zigzagged them across the ceiling). They’ve been in high wind and rain with no issue at all.

Good light set at a resonable price
I purchased these string lights for a deck renovation project. I bought this set along with a “fancier” set that had more bells and whistles. This set was more heavy duty and just seemed like it was better quality and would last longer hanging over a deck, so I returned the other set. I’ve had these lights for a month plus and I’ve been very happy with their look and performance I’m very satisfied with the purchase.

Excellent Quality and Support
Excellent lights and even better support. We had a bad storm and several of our bulbs shattered from large hail. I reached out to them asking if there was a way to order a replacement set of bulbs. They sent me 3 boxes of bulbs within 2 days. No questions asked. I’ll be recommending them to everyone who asks!

Heavy-duty and fancy!
Love the look of these! More importantly, they’re SO durable. I left them up through the winter so we had some pretty lighting back there (I’m in NY so we get cold, snowy weather). They lasted without any issue! I’ve purchased several of these over the years between my old home and new home, with my older sets still working without issue.

incandescent is 5w max, so not super bright
To be clear, this is for the incandescent bulb string of lights on the white cord. The first thing I noticed was that for outdoor weatherproof grade, they are not really heavy-duty. I would say great for light usage. the cord from bulb to bulb is pretty much just lamp cord.Most important thing, these are only 5w max, which is low. can’t really see a world in which you’d want to dim down from 5w. Now, the good thing is that the white cord is really nice up under my white eaves, but they are too dim and too far away from the ground to be of use for me. i will find another location for them, but I was disappointed by their lack of wattage. My bad for not checking first. I have as set of lights from Brighttech that are 11w and they are great at full power and also can be dimmed down to 5w, if that is the look I am going for.Lastly, I don’t have the full string installed, but of the 6 bulbs that I have placed, 2 are DOA. There are only 15, so not a great percentage. I am worried that the next six could be two more.

durable and bright
I had ordered other patio lights previously (cheaper, thinking I could save some money), but they shattered as soon as a twig hit them. These ones, however, are made of sterner stuff. I live in MN and the weather is not kind to them – strong wind with massive trees that drop branches constantly, weeks of subzero temps, squirrels using them as personal bridges to my roof. These lights have held up impressively well. They come very nicely packaged to minimize breakage, were easy to install, and have a bright warm light. 100% would recommend.

Nice sized string of lights.
They’re black so there is no color, but I like that because at night you don’t see the cord. The length was perfect for what I needed. Also I like that you could buy a second one and extend the of cord. They were easy to untangle. I stored the bulbs separately from the cord. And I suggest that when you put this away, do the same. Otherwise the lights will break. The cord is heavy or maybe I guess thick is a better word, and seems very durable. I have yet to attach a timer to it, but when summer comes I’ll be putting them up at night and a timer might be a good idea.

Quality look LED lights are very bright too
I got this 48ft string of lights as a gift for my birthday. The cord appears very sturdy so I was impressed by the quality. Unfortunately I did not hang the string of lights right away. I tried hanging them today and found that one of the sockets did not work. As I continued to screw in the lightbulbs, one of the bulbs exploded for no reason. I’m afraid to hang this now and it’s too late to return it. I am very very disappointed.UPDATE: I had to amend my review because I was contacted by the seller who understood my issue and came up with a great solution. I am so very happy with the LED lights with plastic bulbs. All the sockets work. The lights are so bright, they don’t break easily or get hot. I am delighted with the new lights and so happy!!! Thank you to this #1 seller for resolving my issue.

The product I received does not match the description at all.It is not dimmable.The bulbs are just normal indoor white light 12v LED.Do not waste your money!
