Solid TV for a good price
The Fire TV functionality is fantastic, and is super easy to set up (it comes pre-provisioned if you have an Amazon account). Most of the apps we actually use. Has two HDMI ports making it easy to connect laptops, phones, etc. AirPlay works perfectly out of the box. Picture and sound quality are what you’d expect for the price, and is not the main reason we bought this tv. It’s very lightweight and easy to move and mount. We were looking for a quick and easy screen to AirPlay to, watch Netflix, and connect laptops to for fitness programs and what not. For the price it’s a solid unit. I remember when similar devices sold at Costco for 10x the price not too long ago. Can’t go wrong with this one. Oh and I agree with others, the remote actually makes sense and is easy to use

This is one terrific TV
We purchased this tv for a guest room, looking for a 32 inch model with built-in Amazon Fire functionality, 1080p resolution, a decent remote, and a reasonable price. This one seemed to check all the boxes. The tv arrived in one day, well-packaged and in perfect condition. Set-up was very simple. The picture quality is fantastic, with bright colors and excellent contrast. The sound quality is good, much better than we were expecting from a small tv, definitely good enough for the room we put it in. In fact, we don’t plan to add a sound bar at all. It was simple to install the apps we use on our main tv. We are totally satisfied with our purchase…it met or exceeded all of our needs and the price was great.

Good product!
The tv arrived damage, there was a hole on the box and the tv was broken, but the return was easy and the replacement was fast and with no problem ! great image and 90% self set up!

Good TV, Slow OS
TV is good, the operating system they use is horribly slow though. Expect 30 minutes of updates when you take it out of the box and connect it to the internet. It feels really light, mounted well on the wall with a small mount. LED underneath is more of a status indicator, it doesn’t stay on all the time (the clear/whitish thing under the TCL logo). Would be nice if the refresh rate was higher but it suits the purpose I got it for. If you play video games, I wouldn’t use this as a primary monitor for that.Remote survived a chomp from a large dog, same dog chewed on a Chromecast remote and broke it. I wouldn’t compare it normally but he bit it in similar spots (on the power button). It’s nice you can use the FireTV app for this TV to control from your phone as well, can ignore the real remote if you want.Audio is pretty “tinny” and voices can be hard to understand, typical TV, easy enough to do what I did, get a Bluetooth speaker, connect the AUX cable to the TV and to your speaker, plug speaker into TV USB for power only. Or you can use wired speakers too, some places sell Bluetooth transmitters for 3.5mm plugs as well. You can tweak the audio settings to make it audible without extra speakers.Display is clear, didn’t notice any dead/stuck pixels. Plenty of screen adjustment for me, unfortunately no HDR but it’s an inexpensive TV. Color is good, nothing to write home about, won’t exactly blow your socks off.An okay amount of applications, finding new ones and customizing the layout of the menus is a bit tedious but typically a one-time kind of thing. Can access games, I haven’t tried to play anything on it.

1080P Smart TV for a low price!
So far this 32″ 1080P TV works perfect as a smart TV and as a second monitor for my PC (its the one on the left). I used a monitor arm to mount it and have it a bit higher than my main monitor. The sound is a bit lacking, but for just movies and TV, its is fine. The included and available applications with the FIRE TV interface are plenty as well as some live TV channel choices.Fallout on Prime is great, go watch it, its awesome, Ill wait…..Right? Great show, back to the review. The pixel density works in almost every case, I would not game on this TV as I’m used to a high refresh rate and almost no latency, but I did try and it was not what this TV was intended for. If you are on an older gen console, this would work.60hz just isn’t what it used to be, but for viewing online content, streaming shows or movies, it is plenty fast and has around 4GB of onboard memory for all your applications.

Do Not Buy – Horrible
UPDATED REVIEW AFTER A FEW MONTHS:I have downgraded it to 1 star instead of 2. It is the worst TV I’ve ever owned. It has an unbelievable amount of lag every time I navigate anything in it. I always plan to sit on the floor for 5 minutes pushing button, waiting 10 seconds, then another button, over and over until I get to the app and video I want. The entire Home Screen is full of dozens of videos you can’t access unless you pay, with a small section in the middle for downloaded apps like YouTube, Netflix, etc. Today, I turned it on and all apps I’d downloaded had been deleted. This TV gets used like 1-2 hrs per month and I cringe every time I turn it on.The software is garbage.ORIGINAL REVIEW:While it did not surprise me, I was disappointed to find out that, in order to use the TV, I must log into my Amazon account. Not logging in means I only have access to five apps – Netflix isn’t even one of them.Of course, it tried to upsell me five different times on different products before I could finish setting the TV up. And, as you would expect, Amazon asked to monitor the shows I am watching so they can advertise to me better. I turned it off, but they’ll still monitor and monetize it just like they do all our viewing and shopping history. If you don’t care about being reminded you’re the product being sold here, the TV is fine. But I still find it unacceptable to learn that you can’t use 95% of the available apps without connecting it to your account.

Fire TV NOT Roku
Love the TV. However, I thought I had ordered roku tv, not fire. Very difficult to set up. Not set up to add my cable. Just very odd and aggrevating. The TV itself has great picture and sound.
