The low price is MASSIVELY deceptive, this is a high quality unit.
I thought there’s NO WAY this could be very high quality with a price this low, but I only needed it for a little while.This is actually a STELLAR product, rivals my nest doorbell (which wouldn’t work here b/c there’s no pre-existing wiring for power vs this battery powered unit).Battery life is (what seems impossibly) long considering how much video it’s capturing.The ONLY complaint I have is that the phone video playback app isn’t as nice as a nest (with speed drag/drop controls) you just have to watch the clip. But again at this price it’s amazing.SUPER easy to setup, picture quality is good, great connection to wifi even through a concrete wall. Sticker works great (it’s going nowhere) if you don’t want to drill holes.

Update 27/01/25Compre este Doorbell en Diciembre 2024, y lo compré para la seguridad de mi hogar, ver quien se acercaba a tocar la puerta o si un repartidor debaja algún paquete y que cuidados tenía.Detección Humana:realmente no ha funcionado correctamente, la detección humana que debería ser lo más importante es muy ineficiente, a que me refiero he ordenado varios paquetes en el transcurso de este mes y no ha grabado ni una sola vez al repartidor, cuando salgo o entro de casa tampoco me detecta y no solo a mi, si no también a mis roomies, no importa si ajustas o no dentro de la aplicación el nivel de detección, puedes estar saltando, corriendo, etc que te va detectar cuando el dispositivo quiera.Two way talk:Cuando hablas con alguien la persona no puede entenderte, muchas veces tiene unos altavoces de baja calidad. El micrófono es decente entonces tu si entiendes cuando te hablan, pero cuando tú hablas la persona que esta en el timbre no te entiende.Calidad de video:Es buena y muy decente, creo que es el único punto a favor tanto de día como en la noche.No vale pena este producto, No lo recomiendo a día de hoy. Very easy connect and looks really good compact aesthetic
Pros and a major con which is a MAJOR one on this video doorbell. The con off the bat is If you don’t want to purchase cloud video storage then DO NOT purchase this item as it is the only way to review and download videos. And it doesn’t show real time either.PRO: Read instructions. Plug in to charge which already have a 91% charge to begin with. Download app. Register with valid email as they will send a code. It will locate your network but set it to 2.5 G. Add network and password and voila, SUCCESS! One of the easiest wifi connections and mount install electronics so far that I have encountered on an Amazon. Before purchase confirm that you have less 5G wifi which is what most people have but you can choose the lower frequency of 2.5G, which is essentially the same Wifi name but without it saying -5G. If you don’t select this it will probably not connect. One thing that is a bit fishy and seems like a security issue is that I have to type my network and wifi password into the actual app, so now this company has that info, hmmmm highly suspect to me.As a piece of electronics, it is aesthetically really nice and I like how it is compact and slim unlike other bulky ones. And this came in gray which is perfect for my door as it matches. White color always stands out and is really an eyesore so gray color option is a great plus.The app is clear and uncomplicated. Looks good but can room for improvement on instructions. As far as battery life, it has decreased 5% in a matter of 6 hours or so already with a high setting of human detection. Will see how long it will last.CON: Ok, this is a major con and quite honestly very deceptive of the company to do this which is the reason why it is so affordable and good value for the equipment BUT and a big but, you will not be able to see review any video or see the camera in real time whatsoever. It will show only a video clip screenshot and when you try to view it will will ask you to subscribe and you have to pay for iCloud storage on their servers to review and download. This video doorbell is not one where you can plug in and then see real time video. It only records motion. Unless you purchase the subscription there is loop recording which I haven’t done yet. Year subscription is about $30 USD but it is still a deceptive way and a bait and switch method which is very shady and unprofessional when it comes to customer interaction and customer retention. Wouldn’t you want customers? Just this alone is a turn off purchase. And on top of it all the videos that are stored on their cloud can be used for whatever they like cause they own that video and you signed the agreement when you install the app. Also you can’t see real time video so when you install it you don’t know what you are seeing. Just FYI, it will record every motion and put it on the cloud server if you don’t turn off all the options on the app before you start installing it. My advise is to face the camera down on the counter so it doesn’t record you or any motion. If you do get a motion capture, you can always delete it, but maybe they have already kept the video for their third party use.In conclusion, I give it 3 stars for that is a very nice compact and elegant looking piece of equipment, simple and fuss free connection and installation but the big caveat is that there is no real time video whatsoever and you cannot view any motion recordings without a cloud subscription. It will log a history of screenshots on the app timeline which in order to view any of it will ask that you subscribe. So if you ok with that and ok with having them own the videos and not have paranoia, then it is a great purchase. Most doorbell companies already do the same thing anyway but when you don’t tell your customers first hand that it can’t show real time or you can’t see any video without a purchase then this is bad way of customer relations and for any future purchases as a security company looking to retain customers and try not to use and abuse them first thing off the bat. I don’t even know where this company is based and where their servers are located but I think it said Switzerland. I want more information on their customer privacy and how they will protect their customers rights to privacy. I probably won’t be coming back as a repeat customer unless the camera can show real time and allow me to view video. It’s ok that it is in the cloud as they already have a record but why not let the customer also see it? And if I want to download it then maybe then I will have to purchase. That to me is a better compromise and everyone wins!Everything was going right until the bait and switch tactic. Such a disappointment.

Love this camera, I would recommend this product if you would like to purchase a beginner first camera for your front door and it is inexpensive!
