Worked well for use as advertised and in other ways too!
These were exactly what I was looking for and worked perfectly for entertaining a crowd. In addition, I also found that they are helpful for storing glassware. I was able to stack cocktail glasses in wine storage containers by using a coaster in between the 2 glasses to prevent chipping. I doubled my storage space. These are also fun for craft projects, such as painted Christmas ornaments, for example.

Excellent for custom artwork
You get a whopping 300 paper-fiber coasters in this pack. They are only 1mm thick, which is much thinner that the coasters you might find at a bar. But, for promotional purposes and for this quantity, it’s a great value. I tried out different markers and pens and they all came out looking good with no crazy bleeding of the ink. The one that bled the most, which was still hardly at all, was the uni-ball air, which still looks very clean. The others didn’t seem to bleed one bit. I’m going to be printing the same design on all of these, probably by making my own linocut and block printing using either screen printing ink or maybe just tempera paint and then maybe clear coat it with spray on modge podge. I’m excited to get started on this project!

Single Use Only
I had hoped for more from these crisp looking, sturdy coasters. However, from the moment you set a cold drink down on them, the moisture makes the cardboard start to warp. By the time you finish one drink they’re permanently deformed from the “sweat” from the glass so much that a refilled glass (no matter how heavy) tilts a bit. I’ll see if they work better for hot drinks in the winter.
