Good camera for a great price!
This is a good camera at an excellent price. My other camera (not this brand) quit sending me notifications when there was activity at the door. I wanted a replacement that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. This camera was easy to install and has great clarity. The added indoor chime is a bonus. Installation was quick and easy. Download the app and follow the simple instructions. I do appreciate that you don’t have to subscribe to a service in order for the camera to function. I did install a micro-SD card. They do provide cloud storage for a small monthly fee. I don’t know how long the battery life will be since I just installed it yesterday. I had to replace the batteries in my previous camera, but this camera has a charging port. All in all, if you are looking for an inexpensive camera that is quick to install and easy to use, then this would be a good product to buy.

Motion detection BEFORE the doorbell is rung!
My house has (had) one of the whole house intercoms that included a doorbell. The system quit working some time ago, and the exterior speaker dry-rotted. I tried an inexpensive (chime only) doorbell, but it worked inconsistently due to the range to the receiver.I had a couple of other BOIFUN cameras, so I decided to try their doorbell camera. Physical installation is easy. They give you both screws and adhesive strips to use. I chose to not drill holes in my siding, so I used siding clips and a piece of wood (to be painted). I mounted the doorbell base to the wood with screws and snapped in the doorbell . This also lets me move the camera around, if I am not happy with the location.BOIFUN says you can use either their app or the CloudEdge app. I used the BOIFUN app. Activation and pairing of the doorbell and connection to the wifi network is a breeze. The instructions are pretty clear and there are plenty of color indicators and sounds to let you know you are successful for a given step.The performance is great! My door is about 30 feet from the road, so I was concerned about false triggers with passing cars or bike riders. However I reduced the sensitivity and I do not get any false notifications. The picture quality is very, very good. The app let me customize the zone where I want motion detection notification and video capture. I like that I get imagery of motion detection AND when the doorbell is pressed. Delivery people and others trip the motion detection but may not ring the bell. There is even a small remote speaker that you can place on a shelf that chimes (you can choose from a list of sounds/tunes) when the doorbell is pressed. When the doorbell is pressed, I get a notification on my phone. I can ‘answer’ the notification and have a conversation with the person, or I can have a pre-recorded voicemail be played. I can also decide to reject the request and not respond. I’ve attached a few photos and a video from testing. The doorbell even has night vision!Sharing access to the doorbell and the recorded images is super easy. BOIFUN lets you add someone else by entering their account, or scanning a QR code. Each person is required to download the app and create an account. Rather than add a camera to their account, there is a QR code in the app on their phone that I ( as ‘administrator/owner’) scan using my BOIFUN app. This creates the link and allows sharing. This can be just viewing, or full access and control for family or friends.Certainly based on my old system, this is a HUGE improvement. I now have a working doorbell – range is no longer an issue since it uses wifi to send notifications to my phone. AND I get photo/video (great quality) of the encounter. Given the customization of the app, I cannot imagine a situation where you couldn’t make it work. When I bought mine, there was a discount, which made the price more attractive.

Quality and Security at a great value!
The doorbell camera was very easy to install and works perfectly. I also purchased the speaker for inside and it connected seamlessly. I am also glad I don’t need a subscription to use it! I am very pleased with my purchase. The quality and value give me a tremendous sense of security.

Works great! was easy to install , picture is crystal clear day and night , has a nice wide view of my porch and street . Excellent product , I was a but skeptical with it being a lot cheaper then the more expensive models but it had good reviews so I ordered it and I’m glad I did ! Great color in the Day, night of course is black and white but crystal clear

Je souhaitais profiter des soldes pour trouver une petite caméra / sonnette de qualité, afin de ne rater aucune visite ni livreur.Et mon choix s’est portée sur cette caméra là pour les raisons suivantes :Niveau Design, elle est sobre, grise, noire et anthracite, et va plutôt bien s’intégrer aux poteaux et portail de même couleur et plus.En solde, le prix est très attractif quand on compare en magasin !De la taille d’une main, elle s’installe facilement sans prendre trop de place.J’ai apprécié la petite led bleue autour du bouton de sonnette qui reste allumée la nuit.À l’utilisation, la caméra peut-être utilisée avec l’application boifun (de la même marque), ou l’application CloudEdge.Pour des soucis de pratique, je l’ai installée sur cette dernière puisque j’ai déjà deux autres caméras étanches sans fil qui lui ressemblent, et cela marche parfaitement bien. Vous pouvez avoir 6 secondes d’enregistrement gratuites stockées sur le cloud (à activer soi même dans l’application), à chaque détection de mouvement. A noter que l’application est compatible avec Alexa, à l’aide de skills.Niveau qualité, elle est très correcte, et on reconnaît parfaitement bien les personnes.La distance wifi est très bonne, et si jamais c’est limite, vous pourrez toujours opter pour un répétiteur.À l’usage, lorsqu’une personne appuie sur le bouton, vous aurez un carillon sur la petite enceinte fournie (fonctionne à piles, donc peut être vraiment placée n’importe où, piles fournies), et un appel sur votre téléphone avec une photo de celle ou celui qui a appuyé sur la sonnette.Vous pouvez répondre, auquel cas, vous pouvez lui dire ce que vous voulez.Décliner l’appel, ou laisser un message.Le fait d’avoir la notification sur le portable est vraiment chouette pour être sûre de ne râter aucune visite, ou donner des instructions à des livreurs en cas d’absence.Depuis l’application, vous pouvez également utiliser le microphone si l’envie vous prend.L’application propose deux déformations de voix : “clown” et “oncle” , je vous passe les fous rires liés à ces déformations, qui pour l’usage, me semble plus de l’ordre de l’humour.Je peux confirmer également son étanchéité, et sa bonne “clipsation” dans son support.Malgré des rafales de vent avec de fortes pluies d’orage, la petite caméra veille au grain.Sur batterie, il suffit de la retirer à l’aide d’un outils fourni dans la boîte, pour la recharger avec une prise usb-c.En d’autres termes, cette caméra est vraiment chouette , de qualité et a un logiciel très stable !
