Excellent.
Great sound quality and easy Bluetooth pairing. It’s compact, yet the sound is clear and rich. Highly recommended.

Very versatile. Great audio and works well. No problems.
We use this as a bedroom alarm clock, weather reports, time announcement, and listening to music before bed. The audio is surprisingly good.

Unexpectedly great
I was not planning to buy this speaker, but I stumbled across a rave review on the respected Audio Science Review site. That coupled with a sale and it was a tough deal to pass up. I had been looking for an easier way to stream audio to multiple speakers and getting hardware from the same manufacturer helps to ease this process.First off, I am definitely pleased with the sound. I have a Bose SoundLink speaker and the Google one sounds just as good. The only drawback is it has no line-in port so if you have things like a DAC and want better sound than what Bluetooth can deliver, you’re out of luck. The Google Assistant is extremely sensitive and picks up your voice very quickly. It’s very hard to find anything to complain about considering the low price in the high quality.

These sound great
I was a bit nervous ordering speakers that I hadn’t gotten a chance to touch/feel/love. Setup was a little difficult at first, but once I got the hang of what I needed to do, I was able to factory reset and get them configured the way I wanted on the home network I wanted. There’s a function to group the speakers for a better quality sound and to have that group of speakers act as the default playback unit. Hollering for Google to turn on lights and such is just as good and now can happen in any room of our house. Pairing these is just as good as the Alexa powered product. The only thing that the Google speakers don’t seem to have is the built-in Zigbee controller like Alexa products. I imagine my network will get a little crowded with the Google speaker products and wifi switches and outlets, but I’ll deal with that if/when it happens. All around a decent speaker when purchased in pairs.

Excellent device
It’s worth the price and a solid option if you are on another ecosystem rather than Amazon’s Alexa

Easy to use
Easy to connect and a no brainer to use. Quality is great and it fits well on my side table. It blends in well with my decor.

Mediocre in the extreme
On weekend mornings, while doing household chores, my wife and I like to listen to NPR’s “Wait! Wait! Don’t Tell Me!” We NEVER had a problem getting Alexa to play it from Amazon Music or Apple Music. We cannot get this POS to play it because Google closed down Google Podcasts and no one migrated it (or could convince it to migrate) to YouTube Music. I even have a YouTube premium plan that costs as much or more than a family Amazon Music or Apple Music plan.On top of that, the speaker on this isn’t as good as the speaker on the Echo device I bought on Prime Day in 2017.Apple’s AI house of cards is crumbling around it (the promised Siri updates were delayed to next year) and they’re just going to build on Google’s AI anyway. So it’s looking like we’ll be taking advantage of that new AI enhanced Alexa service on an Amazon device with Amazon music. Google will be able to put its subscription and device where they belong… in the trash.

Not as good as other smart speakers when it comes to syncing and understanding requests. Sound quality is decent tho, when she understands what you want.
