I don’t get why instapot doesn’t rave about this product
This is my 2nd one. I used my first till it just died. It’s not you classic instapot pressure cooker. But dont let that stop you.Full disclosure, I thought I found a cheaper instapot classic. I have all the models of instapotFirst off super easy to clean = reallyYou can make rice , to stew. , chili to roast beef.Sadly I haven’t found even the YouTubers using this amazing product. There is a saute option that works really well. The time is the best part. I’m jewish orthodox and on the sabbath you can’t use electric or cook. All had to be done before the sabbath.A very traditional meal on the sabbath day is called cholent . ( like a meat stew. )Here is what I do before the sabbath Friday.1. Saute onions with oil it’s a half hour by default so don’t forget to mix ingredients.2. I take the neck bones and saute3. Then I cut up the potatoes4. By now the saute is done5. I add all the rest ingredients ( barley , more oil , paprika , salt and pepper, water ( I use beef broth )Ok now the best partOnce you have all ingredients together set it to stew you can vary times I use 2 hoursThe cholent after 2 hours of stew is perfect!!!!Right before the sabbath I give the stew a mix and set it to slow cook. You can choose to cook for up to 24 hours . Which is something a crock pot can’t do.I have people rave about my aura instapot. Spread the word. Maybe others will join us2.

great multifunction cooker but need to get used to slow cooker
everything works. the pot is very smooth and nothing sticks and easy clean up. Have used now nearly every function, steam, sauté, stew, and slow cook. The slow cook function is way different from other slow cook functions, At first I did not think it worked, but did a pot roast and left it alone and it worked just great. Starts out slow then heats, does not boil all the time like my other slow cookers. Need to remember that when changing functions from sauté to slow cook you need to hit cancel then slow cook and tap the slow cook again to adjust the temp. Also this is not the pressure cooker and dont bother with the cook app it is all about their pressure cooker. If this burns out like the others would buy again.

Delayed start on a slow cooker! Yay!
Absolutely love this slow cooker! I’ve been wanting a highly programmable slow cooker for years. Leave it to InstantPot to create the perfect one! My IP pressure cooker is great, but I don’t care for the slow cooker feature on it, especially because of the shape of the pot. This IP slow cooker has the best shaped insert I have ever used. It’s ceramic coated, which is great, but it’s also very lightweight and easy to clean. Very easy to figure out and has a lot of other features like the pressure cooker has, but I use a slow cooker several days a week because of my work schedule, so I mainly wanted this for the slow cooker function. Being able to sear meat in the same pot beforehand is an added bonus. One day I may even try the bake and roast functions! Highly recommend!

Big footprint, but worth it.
This thing is as near perfect as it can be. It probably deserves 5 stars, but it has a rather large footprint, so be advised that if you don’t have a lot of counter space, or if you can’t afford to lose any kitchen real estate, this very worthy appliance will need a bit of management. That said, it performs beautifully. I’ve used most of the functions and nothing is left wanting. To be perfect, they only need to reduce the space it requires.

Versatile, sturdy, easy to operate
Can’t praise my 6qt ceramic pot Aura enough. I’ve beed using non-pressure multicookers on and off for over 10 years and they were good. This one is truly the best as you can control the temperature and it truly bakes and roasts. I roasted a 3.5 lb chicken for 60 minutes and it turned out delicious with a somewhat crispy skin and no extra fat. Bake setting works pretty much like an oven, up to 425, which is quite versatile. I also own an IP pressure cooker and so much wanted this one for what a pressure cooker can’t do. The Aura is pretty sturdy and the pot is truly non-stick with impressive ceramic coating. To me, this is a winner if you need a non-pressure multicooker

Great addition to my Instant Pot Collection
I purchased this not sure exactly what a multi-cooker could offer and I use it a lot more than I expected I would! First of all, this is NOT a pressure cooker. If you keep that in mind, there are so many other things this little gadget can do! I use this for the nights when I know everyone will not be able to eat at the same time. I can make a 1 pot meal and then keep it warm for hours until the last person has eaten. I use it mainly for soups and skillet style means, but I have also used it for proofing dough, hot dips, and to bake smaller side dishes instead of turning on the oven. I have used the slow cooker feature as well, but not with anything with raw meat yet as I feel that it does not heat quite as evenly as a true slow cooker. The insert cleans up wonderfully! I have had no issues with it scratching, but I do only use wooden or plastic utensils with it. I was very happy with this gadget!

Instant Pot does not disappoint.
I was in need of something to replace a previous slow cooker/oven that I LOVED but got old and eventually had to be thrown away. So far I’ve slow cooked meatballs and roasted a pork butt and this has really done the trick. I never owned once of the pressure cookers in this brand so I can’t speak to the difference. But if you constantly use slow cookers and have a need for a portable stove/roaster this is your machine. It heats up quickly and keeps a constant temperature. In my experience with others they take a bit to heat up and then go to maximum and scorch your food, I did not experience this with the Instant Pot machine. So far it keeps the temp that I set and does not go straight to 500 degrees regardless. It’s a keeper, def recommend.
