The Most Versatile Kitchen Appliance
This Instant Pot is a game-changer for meal prep! It’s whisper-quiet compared to earlier models, and the 6-quart size is perfect for family meals. I’ve used it for soups, stews, yogurt, and even baking, and everything turns out amazing. The controls are intuitive, and the stainless steel pot is easy to clean. An essential for anyone looking to save time in the kitchen.

Most settings still work after a year of use
I use this all the time for beans, stews, pot roasts and yogurt. It is good for making the meat tender quickly. The only bad thing is that the yogurt pasturization feature stopped coming up after a few months, even with a factory reset. Instead, I now use steam for 12 minutes and it works OK. I do miss that it would get the milk to the actual temperature needed. Also, I was pasturizing milk in the jars, but would have a jar break after every 3 or 4 batches, so now I just use the pan only. The fermentation cycle still works fine. I do strain for greek yogurt, so I didn’t really need the yogurt formed in the jars. I go to all this trouble because I can’t find grass-fed whole-milk greek yogurt in the store

Finally Instant Pot Indicating Stages of Preheating, Cooking, etc.
I bought Instant Pot years ago from another seller, and gave it away — it was not interactive like this model. Then 2 years after I gave 1st Instant Pot to Salvation Army, decided to buy another well known Chef’s Electric Pressure Cooker. That lasted 3 years and again I gave it to Salvation Army.I said I would never try any type of pressure cooker again — too me, I couldn’t see value in it. Especially since I am retired and alive alone.Then in the various kitchen emails I received during late 2024, this model was mentioned. Decided to research Instant Pot aagin. I read reviews from four different websites comparing up to 10 different electric pressure cookers — including Instant Pot.This model was rated in top 1 or 2 spots on those websites. During 2024 Holiday season, I purchased this model at a reasonable price and bought extended warranty as well.I couldn’t try this model until today, and pleasantly surprised how easy to select cooking function and time — then start. What I always absolutely love is tilted screen — especially since I have arthritis and find it difficult to look straight on at any screen unless I am sitting in a chair. I also think its so wonderful to have various stages from Preheating through Pressure Release shown on the screen; along with, words indicating what stage cooking process currently in.Thank you Instant Pot for tilted screen/interactive screen messages. It will make it so much easier for me. I am sure I will utilize I/P Pressure Cooker more often looking forward to meals I prepare in it.

After 1 year 2 months – still going strong. Cleans up easily to brand-new condition.
Have used this 9-in-one cooker aboard a live-aboard trawler for over a year. Noromally a multiple-use product does one thing well and not others? This Instant Pot does everything well. It is a pressure cooker, crockpot, sous vide, yogurt, rice, sterilizer, cake, and steamer.The only feature not used (yet) is the yogurt setting, but the rest of the settings work extremely well….with impressive results. The support for recipes and use online is also impressive. If you need a perfect meal in thirty minutes while using minimal electricity, this is perfect. This recommendation was passed along by another live-aboard boater. Forgot to defrost meat for a recipe? No worries, defrost enough to separate the meat from the packaging and place in the intant pot. The crock pot setting has 92 hour range which is awesome for bone broth. (We did not opt for the air fryer model, due to our own galley storage and height limitations).The interior pot acts like a 316 stainless steel which performs evenly, does not develop hotspots or burn marks, and cleans easily to brand new condition every time.Con: Short cord. Would love to park the instant pot directly into the sink for stability while we are underway, but the cord is not long enough. This pot is actively used while underway to take advantage of the electricity and to have a meal ready when ready to anchor for the day. Hoever, there have been no problems or issues with slipping, tipping or bouncing off the counter. It’s heavy and stable with great friction on the bottom … again, after 1 year 2 months, so far so good.

I love the newly designed steam release, but I wish that it still had the extended “keep warm” feature. This one only allows you to keep your meal warm for up to 10 hours and then it shuts off, and sometimes I work longer hours than that being in healthcare. My old Instant Pot would let you keep things warm for like 36 hours.
