Unit doesn’t last long
I bought this unit for my office at work. I used this pot maybe 30 times and then it started making loud grinding noises and all the lights were flashing and beeping. It then quit brewing. I am very disappointed in this product and would like to return but missed the return date by 1 day due to having to plan my mother’s funeral. I would really like the mfg. to send a replacement as I can’t afford to keep buying them when they last such a short time.

Great coffee maker
Love all the instant pot products. . I bought this maker to replace a 1 year old keurig duo, which is a huge coffee maker. I didn’t want to hear my husband’s nay saying so I left it in the car, pending the appropriate time to sneak it in the house. As luck would have it, I was cleaning up the keurig and it would not pump up water. I tried everything in the world to get the keurig to work but alas, it would not. Luckily, this instant pot coffee maker was still sitting in my car, Ready for action.It makes a great cup of coffee. Absolutely adore the BOLD option.I don’t think I’ll go back to a keurig. The keurig was my third pot in about 4 years.

InstaPot Kpod Coffee Brewer Did Not Last 9 months – Keeps Asking to be De-Scaled.
Re InstaPot K-Pod single brewer. Starting about 6 months into owning it, making 2 cups of coffee per day at most, and the machine keeps asking to be De-scaled (flashing lights, refuses to brew the coffee). So, I go thru the De-Scaling process, and immediately it refuses to make coffee again. Repeat De-Scale again, Try again. Refuses to make coffee! I completely cleaned the entire unit to make sure no build up of coffee grinds. Same problem. After about 4 DeScales, it will work again for a few weeks then start back to refusing to brew again. Sad to say, I would NOT recommend this KPod coffee brewer to anyone. I am switching to another brand.

Lasted 2 days short of one month!
Loved the size, shape, easily gleanability of this coffeemaker. Fast, tasty coffee. The problem is that it now flashes lights, makes a funny noise, and sprays water and steam out the top where you put in the k-cup. Reading other people’s comments, those not 5-star, instead of a replacement I want my money back!

I’ve tried to like this machine. It is efficient and economical. Makes a cup fast. But the coffee comes out watery and kind of tasteless. I will continue to try different grinds of coffee to see if it helps. So far it is not may favorite device. I like the Italian coffee makers much better.

Great coffee pot. It offers everything bigger name brands do at half the cost. Makes great coffee fast, even has a bold button that I love.
