Nice product …..but with a note about the color.
Purchased this light because of the style and suggested asian design. Decided to turn the light upside down (lights shine downward instead of upward). The honey glass tones down the wattage of the bulbs suggested so it’s bright but not blinding — could also use lower wattage bulbs. Was a little disappointed with the color although it did blend with my other fixtures/mirror: I thought there would be a hue of a rusty coloring; instead it was more of a flat, or matte, brown color. I guess that’s the difference between regular bronze and this item color, old bronze. In any event, I’m happy with the fixture, the quality was good and it was easy to install. I would recommend the product.

Beautiful light fixture, however, glass color
Excellent quality, a definite upgrade to the dated builder-grade lighting in our bath. However, I didn’t pay close enough attention when ordering and so didn’t notice in the listing that the glass is tinted “light umber” for the “olde bronze” fixture. Even with bright bulbs, the umber tint of the shades causes the room to be suffused in a yellow, almost smoky glow which is not so good for a bathroom vanity where bright white light is more appropriate. I’m planning to switch out the shades for ones with an opal (white frosted) finish.

    Attractive and functional
The light looks lovely when installed and provides a lot of light. I oriented the shades downward for ease of changing bulbs and it looks just as stylish. Small-sized light bulbs with medium base are easiest to install.

    Top quality lighting!
We spent many, many days looking for the right lighting for our new home and ran across these at a local store. After some research we decided to take the plunge and bought several Kichler matching pieces for the kitchen, dining, entry, hall, baths, etc…. not cheap, but super nice and super high quality. The builder’s electrician said it was all top quality and he enjoyed installing these verses some of the cheap stuff out there. Everything from Kichler came as promised and we have no issues with any of the pieces purchased. I would recommend these if you want high quality lighting and I would buy them again, if I had to do it all over.Side note, these can be mounted up or down… we chose down for our vanity lights and they work awesome.

    Nice looking sconce
I think this sconce is a bit on the pricey side, but I was looking for something specifically to replace an old sconce in our new home and also cover more of the wall (damaged from the old sconce). This one was basic to install and looks really nice. The big base covered most of the messed up wall as we hoped. I’m satisfied with this purchase.

    Absolute Garbage!
Where to beign… the mounting bracket wasn’t compatible and had to be cut. The mounting screws were to long and had to be grinded down. All that just to find out that the light bar was attached to the base at a VERY noticable angle. I’d also add that the way this thing mounts is very weak and unstable. It was very wobbly and this was without the weight of the glass and bulbs!

Beautiful light, but what’s with the sudden, substantial price increase?
I bought this fixture just about a year ago (for $157 on Amazon), and I was just about to purchase another one, along with a 4 or 5-light version. Just a few days ago, the price for this same fixture was about $166, but I waited while deciding whether the second fixture should have 4 or 5 lights. Today I was going to order both a 3-light and a 5-light fixture; you can imagine my shock when the $166 price for the 3-light fixture from late last week was $200.20 today, about a 25% increase! Similarly, the 4-light fixture which was $219 a few days ago is now around $266. I know the prices can vary daily, but the idea of nearly $90 extra for the same products within a few days has really given me pause. I don’t think this is Amazon’s pricing, as the prices were identical for every source I found. I think I will wait a while and see if the dust settles. As for the light fixture itself, I felt it was a very good purchase (at least at $157 last year). The metal was substantial and nicely finished, and the glass etched shades were in perfect condition. The only issue was that I didn’t realize how very small the 24 inch width would be (measured from end to end along the shades. I was replacing a 48-inch 6-bulb “Hollywood globe” style fixture that was centered over a 50″ counter in the guest bathroom that had a sink at one end, a mirror the length of the counter, and a medicine cabinet on the end wall farthest from the sink. So although I made do for a while with the 3-light Kichler fixture by using bright bulbs, it really isn’t enough to adequately light that much space. We eventually decided to get a second 3-light fixture (as suggested by our electrician) and move both of the small fixtures to our master bath, with has a similar setup but a longer counter with sinks at both ends, and then each sink plus the general area would be well lit. At the same time, we would replace the first 3-light, 24-inch fixture from the guest bath (as noted above) with either a 4-light, 34 inch fixture or a 5-light, 43 inch fixture of the same brand and style. We had just settled on the 5-light fixture, which I’m sure will provide plenty of light–at least until today! I really like these fixtures better than others I’ve seen, but as noted above, I’m rethinking things because the price increase was so sudden and substantial. We shall see.We liked the option to install the lights facing up or down. We chose to have ours facing down, mostly for ease of changing bulbs, plus we can also avoid having to deal with dead stinkbugs as we do with upward-facing lights. I can’t speak about the ease of installation because we had an electrician do the work (we were intimidated by the fact that the circuit ended right where the light was supposed to go, but the electrician said it was no problem. If we proceed with our replace and move plans and do it ourselves, I may update this review.

    A powder room upgrade
Our previous powder room light had 4 lights – way too many for the room size. This light ha the correct number of bulbs in a great looking product.

Love this light!!!! You probably don’t want 100W bulbs….I tried and it was way too bright. 60W or 40W bulbs (LED equivalents) give off a really nice glow.
