Had seen poor reviews – but love it!
I had another one of these that I bought several years ago. Wanted another to give as a gift. Had read several poor reviews of this and some others like it. Complaints about the back, the poor quality of how it was made, it falling apart etc. This is a well constructed frame, maybe a little bendy when you are flipping it over to put pics in, but hello, it’s 9 5×7 picture frames all screwed together. I think it’s very good quality. It’s beautiful, worked great putting the pictures in (even has the easy swing out clips instead of the kind you have you use a butter knife to lift up and bend back down to hold the pictures in. Has several hanging clips on the back so you can hang it either way (4 portrait/5 landscape or vice versa).

Makes for a Terrific Themed Collage
I’m an avid bird photographer and looked for a lightweight framed grouping to showcase a number of horizontal and vertical bird shots. This Malden framed collage fit the bill (and the beak) perfectly! The plastic framing cuts down on the weight, as each photo is a decent 5″ x 7″ size. The backing has a number of latches to hold the photos securely as a group. It would have been nice if the frame color selection offered a few choices, but the black color is a good universal match to most any other item you may have in the room. Highly recommended!

Looks nice, a little finicky
Nice looking frame, but a little finicky in getting the photos to be centered when placed in the frame. Everything needs to be aligned properly and it took some jiggling of the glass to get it all aligned and flat. But once put together, it looks really nice.

JUST WHAT I WANTED !
love this frame – just what I was looking for. Going to put my 9 grand kids graduation pictures in it , won’t be full for a few years yet as youngest is only 10, but will still be on the wall . Frame is not wood, but still sturdy – is a composite material. Each frame has it’s own piece of backing so that you can access each picture individually and also has glass and not a thin plastic sheet that scratches or cracks. I think it was a good purchase.

Made of plastic
Ordered this frame to match one that broke. This frame is constructed of plastic with glass rectangles in front of photos and styrofoam inserts. (My original frame was wood with cardboard inserts.)My main complaint is that a sticky bubble wrap was used to protect the frame for shipping; when I removed the bubble wrap, the sticky side lifted off areas of the shiny painted finish off the frame. Rather than deal with the hassle of returning the frame I tried to touch up the dull areas with an acrylic paint marker, which actually looked OK. It’s a nice way to display a grouping of photos and we like the style.

Love it. My granddaughter, 8 years old, draws and I wanted something to put her pictures in. Hard to locate a 5X7 but found it here. She loves it.

Quality Has Gone WAY Downhill
I’ve ordered these frames several times over the past decade and have been very happy with them. What was sent to me just now is not at all the same quality or materials used in what’s supposedly the same exact product I’ve ordered before. The entire frame back is held together by a filmsy piece of cardboard and several cheap fasteners. The frame itself is made of cheap plastic that’s very narrow – it would be impossible to hang securely using command strips and the hangers that come on the frame do not look very sturdy at all. Which would be a problem because none of the glass is attached to the frame – so if you don’t use the cheap Styrofoam backers that come with the frame and have every single fastener done, the glass slides out of place. I tried for an houe to make it work but I have two little kids and was worried about how much glass would get everywhere when this terrible frame inevitably fell. So disappointing, the old frames have held up wonderfully. They clearly tried to cut corners.

Me gusto mucho, muy buena calidad, cada foto trae su propio soporte en la parte de atras para detener las foto (he comprado otros que es solo una parte completa para todas las fotos y es mas complicado acomodar las fotos). Se ve super bien, lo recomiendo.

It took some time to assemble but it was easy. Everything arrived undamaged. The overall look was very pleasing since it had a look of quality despite being light. It has a solid black finish with no wood grain. I wanted to combine several family pictures so that I didn’t have to put so many holes in the wall as I had before repainting the wall. I combined this with two other collage frames and some black wall stickers that emphasized a look of a family tree. The changed seem to give life to my pictures again.
