I love this unit!We already have an induction stovetop.I purchased this unit to keep my chocolate warm, while making candy.Heats up very fast and I love the temperature ranges.If we ever need another burner or need to cook something at another location, then we are covered.

This is my fifth Nuwave. This one is special. Fist bump to whomever came up with the probe. Little complicated. It will turn off once target temp is hit or hold it’s temp for the time set. To the holding a temp. I used two pokey temp probes and pan of water. Once set up, it will use full voltage and overshoot 5f give or take. Then hold it fairly close. No more melting coca butter over boiling water. No more crock pot. No more sous vide machine. Many Thanks

Good kitchen addition
Pros: precise temperature, heats up quickly for faster cooking, boiling water , the ability to program different settings. I like the temperature probe which makes cooking meat much easier. I prefer this product over stove top as I have difficulty knowing when a pan is hot enough to cook eggs and meat especially. Cons: i gave this product a 4 star because I tried cooking chicken wings on the grill that is purchased separately, and it was difficult to do plus created alot of smoke even though there is a fan underneath this burner.

Very pleased with my first induction cooktop
Quickly hits the target temperature, and the timed shutdown is a plus. I haven’t delved deeply into its feature set yet – my first adventure was just a simple pot of Ragin’ Cajun pintos – and it performed well.Not sure if it has a keep warm function – time to RTFM! 😁 I’m using it on our house build job site – convenient for lunches. I suspect it’s going to be a plus for gatherings once we move in…Easy wipe down cleanup. Recommended.
