Beautiful frame at a great price!!!
I bought this to replace a frame with a matte that had fallen off the wall and got damaged..** Excellent quality and materials!** Can be wall mounted or displayed in a vertical or horizontal position!** Well packed to protect the frame and glass!** Very fairly priced!Bottom line – A great picture frame with a matte at a great price!!! Exactly what I was looking for! I highly recommend this item! stars!!

Beautiful Frame…
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it…. it really was beautiful. It came in its own box which had foam pieces in it to protect it & the glass. Its all wood & has the nicest black finish. Then on the back, all the closure tabs were metal & were really tight… Not loose & flimsy. It had 2 different clamps to hang in either direction you want plus it has a well made prop arm on it to sit on a shelf. I would definitely buy from them again.

Good frame but warped backing
The frames themselves are nice but the backing was warped which makes it look cheaper. It probably wouldn’t have been much of a problem but the photos I ordered from Shutterfly had been shipped in a circular container, so they really needed the back of the frame to be straight and put pressure on the pictures to help straighten them out. I ended up keeping the frames but had to try and bend the backing to get it to flatten my pictures more. It may not be an issue if your pictures are flat, but just FYI.

Good quality picture frame with hard to find one with table stand
The wood used for the picture frame looks good. It was hard to find a 11×14 picture frame with a built-in table stand.

May be fine for your use if that use isn’t treasured photos or hanging on your walls
Bought three 11×14″ frames (2 black, 1 brown). Needed them to frame some old portrait photos for a funeral. For this they’re fine: the photos won’t live in them long. However, I’d never hang these on my walls. I’ll save them for displaying some of the random gov’t docs I’m required to display in public areas.Given that I didn’t have high expectations, I’m rating these a 4 as they are adequate for well considered use cases: use cases which do not involve valued, treasured photos or artwork.- The brown frame itself was blemish free. A lot of dark brown fill at the miter joints though but not obtrusive at a casual glance: everyone is focused on the portrait, not the frame.- The black frames are over coated with some material to hide whatever. There were small blems in the finish but nothing that screams for attention.- The white mats are somewhat thin. Certainly compared to professionally cut mats.- Who knows if the white mats are acid free or not. No statement as to their being acid free. So DO NOT keep anything you care for with these mats for any length of time.- Two of the frames came with white mats that had marks/blems on them. The blems are there to stay and they are noticeable.- The glass is not high quality glass. And the glass for EACH of the three frames had deep but short scratches (maybe 2 mm long). One piece of glass had two.All in all, acceptable for my use: needed something simple & inexpensive for a funeral. But I’d never hang these on my wall.
