Affordable Coaster Choice
I’ve been using these silicone coasters for a while now, and I’ve got to say, they’ve been pretty handy. Rubber coasters
Simple rubber coaster.The coaster is made from a black rubber with grooves. It does not absorb at all, but the grooves trap the water in the coaster. Eventually enough condensation may build up and you may need to switch out the coaster or dry it off. However, there is no chance of it leaking through. My coaster handles more than a few iced drinks before I worry about this.The coasters design of grooves does prevent it from getting stuck to the bottom of the can or cup like traditional light coasters do. The rubber material also has good grip to the table surface so it doesn’t slide at all.It comes with a black wired holder just greater than the diameter of the coasters. It’s not the most fancy looking thing and I’m sure it’s not going to impress anyone. It does it’s job and for a rubber coaster I’m assuming you’re not going for the impress your guest vibe anyway.It’s a good coaster nothing fancy. Does the job.

Works OK, but Cleaning is a Nightmare
We love the look of these. They also stay in place very well due to the material they are made of. It is also nice to have coasters that trap the condensation off of bottles and glasses so that your table/end tables don’t get damaged, and they trap quite a bit.However, there are a couple of problems with these to keep in mind:1) They are a NIGHTMARE to clean. All those grooves trap more than condensation; they trap dirt/dust that then gets wet and turns to goop. Cleaning that out of all of those cracks and crevices is not something you want to do routinely.2) Some drinks in cups that have recessed bottoms with a lip around the bottom edge may not sit well on these. Those thin edge lips can slip down into the grooves in the coaster and cause a cup to go off-balance. Admittedly, this is a very small subset of cups, but if you own some, be careful. For most people, this will be a non-issue, so it wasn’t worth deducting a star.Overall, you will probably be happy with these as long as you learn to routinely spray these down to keep them clean and don’t let any dust/dirt sit inside the grooves. If you do, you’ll only do it once.

When you move from a dry climate to a humid one, you quickly find out that you need to use coasters with your cold drinks. These fit the bill. They are made of silicone and are holding up quite well. They come with a cute little rack to hold them with your other table goods. They are great for RVs as they are easy to clean, lightweight and easy to store.

I love these coasters. They look great and clean easily. Any spillage or condensation falls into the crevices and protects the surface of whatever the coaster is on.A huge plus is the silicone material which is non-slippery – so the coaster will not slide on the surface of the table, and your glass will not slide on the coaster. I use these every morning to protect my desk from my hot coffee mug.Very happy with this product – would buy again.
