Its…it’s ok. Its meh…but it does work at least.
I like this item, it seems to do everything it says it will. I have had some issues with setup…well not necessarily setup but just with some of the features. Instructions are included but some things are a little confusing still. So, you have the doorbell itself, then a plate that the doorbell can be screwed to but then theres a sticky foam piece that you can apply and just none of that really makes any sense. The app was easy to download and I can see everything, sometimes at night the images can be a bit grainy…idk if that’s bc of the camera resolution or what…i don’t think it’s my wifi, we have great fiber optic wifi. Sound is ok for what it’s worth. I doesn’t lag too bad. It keeps going into a sleep mode and I’m just having issues with that…I’ve changed it several times, but it just kind of keeps reverting back. IDK, i’m still playing around with it and hope that eventually i can get it to where i want it to be. I mean for what it is, its worth the money. It doesn’t seem to be overly sensitive and I definitely don’t hate it. Would I order again? Nah, probably not. But if youre on a budget or whatever, its honestly not that bad, i just would say if you had a choice to buy a ring or this….Buy the Ring.

This smart doorbell has been a great addition to my home. The wireless setup was easy, and the night vision works well. The app makes monitoring effortless!

Not consistent
A great novelty item, but not a very serious doorbell replacement. the camera is pretty sub par. VERY sensitive to light so if its bright it will blur their face, no real setting to modify that. you can manage the brightness of the image but it doesn’t fix the over exposure.The door bell itself is cheap plastic. The housing is flimsy and doesn’t look all that well made. The App is terrible on Android. But the Apple version is “better”. I really couldn’t recommend getting this as a serious replacement or competitor of the more reliable solutions on the market.

Works well but iffy about the video quality
This doorbell camera is solid. It’s just plug and play and setting it up won’t take more than like 10 minutes. The build quality is good, it’s plastic but feels solid and not flimsy and I don’t notice any creaking or give when pressing hard on the doorbell button which is good. Now as just a doorbell, it’s great, does it perfectly. The camera part I’m still a bit iffy about it. It’s good as in I can access it and see through it but the quality is on the lower side. Now if it only records in 1080p then I wouldn’t mind since a good 1080p video is still very serviceable but I don’t think that this can film on 1080p like it states. I compared the video quality to an old 720p webcam I had lying around and the video quality was on par. Kind of sucks that this was marketed for 1080p video but besides the lower quality video, everything else is super solid, and even at 720p it’s still serviceable enough for it to be recommended.
