Cute but strange
The lights worked perfectly once i hung them up on the tree. None broken or malfunctioning. Only gripe I have with the lights is that the remote doesn’t work from that far of a distance. If there’s even a box in the way of it reaching the outlet piece, it won’t work very good. Otherwise these are absolutely perfect~!

Eh, okay I guess
Its a bit underwhelming, the remote despite having so many colors is very limited in personalizing display. You can’t control what color goes in for the strobe effect buttons, it will always be random. The multicolor pattern option also literally only has 3 different swatches, “christmas”, “usa”, and “rainbow”. Which is a shame since it showed me a pink and blue combo in the random strobe colors that I would have liked to stay on. I also had two stars missing from their lights without any spares in the box.A positive is that it is fairly bright– not by too much but enough to give a nice soft glow in a dark room. Some of the colors are pretty, though theres two different blue options on the remote that look exactly the same in the lights.Perhaps its a fair trade-off for the price for it to be more limited, but its a product I would say comes with a gamble on whether or not it will arrive working well and in one piece. Hopefully it will last a while, but I’m not expecting anything more than between 2 months to a year for its lifetime. We’ll see.

Love! Wish I’d bought them 2 years ago.
I had wrapped some old Christmas tree lights around the curtain rod in my living room around Christmas last year, liked the light they gave, so kept them up. I accidentally left them on when I was out of town over about 3 days recently and half of them burned out, so I decided to replace them with some lights actually made to hang indoors that way. I picked these and hung them with S-hooks rather than wrapped around the curtain rod. They’re beautiful–I like the warmth of the light, I like the options for changing patterns (though I’ve only used that once), I like the length of the string (I was able to take it back and forth 3x)–and hanging them with the S-hooks means I can actually close my curtains now. Highly recommend, especially for the price.

Great Warm Yellow Lights for the Price
The lights came neatly packaged in their box and the remote has clear instructions! i hung them up using the twist ties they came with and 2 extra ones i had on hand. they cover a lot of area as you can see in the photos! the stars are a good size and look and feel to be good quality. There are 4 brightness settings and I don’t think they’re extremely bright at their highest setting, but since there are so many of the lights it makes up for it. personally i’m not using them as an alternative for overhead lighting (for that i would buy a strong warm toned floor lamp) but for when i want some ambiance at night or on a rainy day they’re great. their warmth is a nice natural yellow color. the lights will only work if your remote is aimed at the responder, which will be where you plug it into the wall, so keep that in mind. there’s a good amount of extra wire on that end of the rope, so if you don’t want the lights where your outlet is, there’s some wiggle room 🙂 the remote is pretty straightforward too. be warned the chasing/flash and twinkle/flash settings are kind of aggressive and i’m sensitive to flashing lights so i will Not be using those modes. but the slow glow and slow fade are nice for if you want some movement. but i think i’ll only use the steady on feature 🙂 anyways, i think they’re worth the price and that their light is warm and soft!
