    Amazing for movies AND gaming!!
Bought this TV for my bedroom and replaced a 4 year old 50inch samsung. TCL has got the best TV remotes and google is the best OS for smart TVs. The colors look very good on the TV and the blacks get very dark. Whites look awesome and TV gets very bright. Settings is easy to navigate. FOR GAMING, it has 120hz refresh rate which looks super good and helps me stay on top. the TVs built in gaming mode is very good, I started playing games before i set up gaming mode and got scared due to there being a large enough delay in the response from XBOX to TV. after putting on gaming mode, it was perfectly fine with good response time. Speakers in TV sound good for a TV but I have my own surround sound set up anyways. But for the average ear, speakers sound pretty solid. Finally putting it together was so easy, didn’t even need 2 people. VALUE FOR MONEY, it’s very very good for the money, I paid $700. If you are thinking, just pull the trigger. Amazing TV

    Best TV Ever!!!
Our living room has a high ceiling and can’t find a perfect TV for the size of the wall until i came across TCL 85 inch QM7 QLED 4K. The built in speaker are amazing. No soundbar needed. The colors are beautiful and perfect for the eyes. This gives you the theater experience. The set up was very easy and quick. We are very satisfied about the performance of the TV. The money spent is worth it. Now i can feel like i am in the stadium when watching sports. The user interface is also friendly. The remote control is very easy to use. My mother in law did not have any issue navigating the TV. I definitely recommend buying this TV for everyone. We are very satisfied!!!Norman Rivera

    Best TV for gaming!
If you are looking for a TV for gaming this is it! I needed a new television for my den and I decided on the 55 inch. It’s more spectacular than I imagined. I have a PS5 and this TCL is an amazing addition to my gaming needs. The picture is amazing. Currently I’m playing Assassins Creed Valhalla and I had thought that the graphics were already fantastic but once I started playing I instantly saw the results. I was able to easily change the setting on my new TCL while seeing the impact each change had in the game. Within a couple of minutes fiddling around I had the perfect picture. Colors were more crisp. Zero lag and the scenery was instantly better. As for the 120 fps, most PS5 games include such a frame rate but not all. For example, Assassins Creed Valhalla does not but performance mode looks so good I hardly care about missing some graphical improvements. Once I started playing Spiderman 2 (which does have 120 fps while playing in quality mode) I was stunned and frustrated I had not purchased this TV sooner. If you want a cheaper option and think a TCL TV is a poor man’s television you are incredible wrong and ill informed. Buy it. You won’t regret it.One more thing. The sound is fantastic. The TV includes a subwoofer and in a small little den sounds so good!

Bright and vibrant, very meh remote and concerned about longevity and repairability.
Overall a very good tv, VERY bright and very vibrant atleast when coming from a 5yo hisense that’s FALD failed and caused it to have large dead spots all over. Now lets get to a breakdown of the nice things about the tv;- VERY Bright, love how the tv handles highlights.- Very vivid, the colors absolutely POP on this thing due to the QD coating.- Response times regarding gaming are fantastic. Just make sure you plug your HDMI into the correct port, only a single one is 144hz the rest are 60.- 64GB of onboard storage was a very pleasant surprise, means you have more than enough space to sideload a lot of apps.- Google TV is the BEST tv operating system bar none as long as you know how to take advantage of it- Controller is okay, backlight makes up for some of the negatives. Now onto the bad- Eco mode. This mode is on by default and was a hilariously bad idea by TCL. When I first received the tv I had thought it was a TFT panel it was so dull in both color and brightness. I would absolutely recommend you turn it off literally as soon as you can. Your eyes and soul shall thank you.- Very concerned about the longevity of this tv with regards to Updates and security patches. I’ve had it for abit so far and only had a single update when first starting the tv up (so no real frame of reference on how old that update was exactly) and have had nothing since. Ideally it will receive at least 6 updates a year for 2 years after the tv began selling but I have some hefty doubts that’s what they’re gonna do with this one.- Repairability is ALWAYS a concern of mine and so far this tv doesn’t seem to have any parts up for sale that I could find especially for the tv parts that love going out in regards to wifi modules and certain controllers/backlights. Would really like to see TCL pivot into offering parts for their tvs.- CPU while ok so far likes to hitch and stutter when doing more then 1 thing at a time (EG watching youtube and going to settings) which as you can imagine is abit annoying.- The remote has NO PLAYBACK BUTTONS????? Why tcl??? How does that make sense??? You left a quarter of the remote blank black plastic so you def had room to atleast add a pause button. Also the buttons are VERY mushy. Like i’m slapping some yogurt in a felt bag. While i’m concerned and or dissatisfied about certain things as outlined above I am actually very impressed with this tv overall and would recommend it to friends and family looking for a tv that beats the pants off the competition for the price (atleast for the price I paid for it 499).

    Great TV for the price
Typically you get what you pay for. But I’m blown away what you can get at this price now. The picture quality is a massive upgrade from my 6 year old TV. It’s far brighter with far better HDR. The color is really good.I spent way more on my old TV.I mean, look, this isn’t a super high end TV. But I suspect I’d be equally blown away at the picture of a twice as expensive set, but the wallet part would hurt more. This is better than I thought I’d be having at this point, and this price point makes it that much sweeter.I did have to replace one of my HDMI cables as it seems this TV was quite sensitive to whatever issues the old one was having. I don’t think it’s a spec issue, but probably a faulty cable that my old TV probably tolerated better.
