Thirstystone coasters are the best
I have used Thirstystone coasters for the past 12 years. I love them because they don’t stick to the bottom of glasses when people pick them up! Sure, they don’t absorb ALL the liquid but it is easily wiped up and it rarely gets to the table. The problem with the old pattern I had was that I had two boxes of them and the second box was a slightly different shade than the first. This always irritated me. This time I bought one box of this pattern, liked it, and sent for two more boxes. They are all totally uniform, and I love them. The colors are quite subtle blue/gray/beige and go very well with my dark gray glass table and gray and blue decor. The pattern is matte, printed on the top and looks very natural. I plan on them lasting forever.

Beautiful Coasters
I added felt to the bottom of them because the layer of cork on the bottom was thin and didn’t cover the entire bottom of the coasters. They are heavy, pretty, and functional. I am using them to put my waterfall for incense cones on to keep that from damaging the surface of my dresser. Very pretty and because they are a neutral color and material, they match any decor

The Colors Are Spot On!
I was hesitant to buy these coasters because of the reviews. I wasn’t put off by the notion that the pattern was simply a printed image–I expected it. What concerned me were the complaints about the color. There is an image posted by a reviewer of this coaster with heavy pink/red tones. This would not have suited my decor at all. But the colors in the picture were so perfect! So I gave it a try and I’m so glad I did! I am not sure if the redish-toned coasters weren’t genuine, but I ordered directly from Thirstystone and the colors are spot on! It’s true that the image gives the impression that the pattern is composed of individual stones, like a mosaic, but it doesn’t matter to me that it’s a print. It’s perfect for my decor! I think they’re beautiful!

Almost Perfect
I love the look and feel of these coasters. I keep a huge cup on my desk at work and the sweat from the cup makes a huge mess. I fill my cup with ice and then dispense coffee into it and drink my ice coffee throughout the day. I bought these coasters specifically to soak up the condensation that drools down the cup and puddles on my desk.I’ve been using these for about two weeks now and I’ve been completely satisfied until yesterday. I guess I was thirsty yesterday, because I refilled my cup two more times. Evidently three cups caused too much condensation and I saturated the coaster. I had to dump out my drink and take the coaster to the kitchen to dry off the soaking stone and the cork base. Lesson learned.

Great coasters – rich color but not garish!
We have used Thirstystones for years and decided we needed to bring some new color into our lives. We bought these for ourselves and also two sets for our daughter as a Christmas gift. They look well, the colors are rich but not garish, and our past experience reassures us they will be very durable.

Some things just work as predicted even though that seems unlikely. This is one. A soaking wet Starbucks iced beverage sweats a lot where I live but this coaster soaks up all the sweat from the bottom. Now I just have to figure out how to keep my hands from getting wet…
