Nice Low Cost Smartphone.
I was looking for another backup smartphone and I spotted this one that was on sale with a percentage off on it. It had what I was looking for and it turned out to be a nice phone for the price. It comes complete in a box with the charger and a case. It works great with Android 14 and is snappy with 4GB that extends to 8 GB of ram and a 120 Hz refresh rate and 128 MB storage. The battery lasts a long time , I used it for two days and its still going. All in all this is a nice phone that’s worth the price and I’m glad I bought it.

Great Features, Low Price!
This G100A Android phone by UMIDIGI is great. For such a low price (currently under $90) you get so much for your money. I ordered the Starry White color and I like how it looks. The build quality isn’t on par with any flagships but it’s not bad at all. It feels good in the hand and the design is very much like a smartphone from 5 or 6 years ago. The screen is 6.9 inches which is pretty big, though it’s narrow with slim bezels so great for watching any content on. The resolution is only 720p so classed as HD+ but colors are vibrant and it’s sharp enough to use in most cases. Text is where you can see the difference versus a higher resolution. Unbelievably at this price, the refresh rate is 120Hz which provides a really smooth experience when scrolling and switching apps.It’s running Android 14 and it’s close to a stock Android experience. It has 4gb ram but has another 4gb of extendable ram to get it to 8gb when needed. I am not completely convinced about that but so far it’s been running smoothly. There is 128gb internal storage but obviously a chunk of that has gone to the operating system and installed apps. You can expand the storage to 1tb with a micro sd card which is great. Another benefit is that there is a 3.5mm audio jack for wired headphones. That’s very rare these days!This doesn’t have wireless charging but it does support fast charging up to 20W. You do get a 10W charger in the box. The battery size is 6000mAh which is awesome. The battery does get through a full day with max use. Charging isn’t blazingly fast but I can go from 10% to 100% in under 2 hours which isn’t bad. I usually just plug in the charger before bed and it’s ready again the next morning.The cameras are the worst part about this budget phone but you can get some okay photos from the main sensor. The selfie camera I find is a bit hit or miss and really depends on lighting conditions. The cameras are fine for basic snaps to add to your socials.In all I can recommend this phone because I do not think you can get these features for a price as low as this.

Exceeds (moderate) expectations
Having tested several different models of Umidigi phones, I am almost always impressed by how much they pack into a device for such a reasonable price. This one is no exception. For an entry-level price, these the G100A is several notches above any other “cheap” phone from a non-flagship brand that I’ve tried. This one is a very “straightforward” Android 14 phone (no preinstalled bloatware) with pretty decent specs and storage! And a good battery life.At this price, you’re not getting some of the bells and whistles of the leading brands – no 5G, camera is just OK, and you’d struggle to use it for anything intensive like 3D gaming or livestreaming with crazy AI filters going in real-time.BUT if you just need a smartphone for everyday tasks – calls, text, email, browser, *decent* photos, scrolling through social media, and maps to get around….. this phone is more than enough. The camera quality is the biggest thing I find lacking day-to-day compared to my friends’ brand-name phones. You can’t get away with any serious photography with this, though it’s fine for everyday / social media photos.While setting up this phone and using it for a while to test out, I found no issues, everything I needed to do (again, everyday non-high-tech stuff) was smooth and fast. Despite having a multi-camera array that LOOKS impressive on the outside, none of them were very HD. But they were better than any of the prepaid “burner” phones you can buy at the convenience store. And the design of the phone was slimmer, sleeker, more modern – really looks like a premium device.It comes with a protective case and a plastic screen protector that you can leave on. Also includes basic instructions, a USB-C charger, and a SIM tool pin.Set moderate expectations, and this phone should be able to exceed them!

Outstanding phone, very pleasantly surprised!
The phone runs fast and I also like the photo features.The G100A phone comes with side fingerprint sensor, face unlock and dual SIM dual standby – a lot of features and all of them work.I think it’s an extra surprise.

This phone made me let out an audible “Wow!” I bought one for my son and loved it so much I bought another for myself.Likes:- Screen: Huge 6.9 inch screen is bright, sharp and colorful. The design allows for a huge screen in a nice, compact form factor. The screen is sharp enough for a great reading or video-viewing experience.- Battery: massive 6000 mAh battery lasts for ages- Performance: T615 processor and 4+ GB RAM allow for good performance for everyday tasks and some light gaming- Fingerprint unlock on power button: I prefer physical fingerprint readers over in-screen ones. They’re more generally faster and more reliable.- Value: Fantastic phone for the price and comes with case and screen protector- Comfortable: Thin, light and narrow, fits nicely in my hand or pocket- Sound: The speakers are very loud and powerful AND it has a 3.5mm headphone jack- Gaming: powerful enough for light gaming. Works well with controllers.Dislikes:- Feel: The plastic finish is slightly slippery to the touch, but this is remedied by the included case
